Pittsburgh man arrested in Butler County for cocaine, fentanyl trafficking

A Pittsburgh man arrested Monday, June 15, by Butler County law enforcement officers in an operation focused on drug trafficking activity was found with crack cocaine, fentanyl and thousands of dollars.

According to a news release from the Butler County Detectives Bureau, Allen Bruce Coleman Jr., 41, of Pittsburgh, is facing a felony charge for drug trafficking and multiple misdemeanor charges.

According to a news release, Coleman was in possession a digital scale, $800, about 32 grams of crack cocaine and 10 stamp bags of fentanyl when he was apprehended after allegedly attempting to flee from police.

When a search warrant was later issued for Coleman’s car, detectives say they seized an additional $12,223 in cash.

Coleman was charged with felony possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver and misdemeanor charges for possession of controlled substances, resisting arrest and evading arrest on foot, according to the release.

Coleman is scheduled to appear in front of Judge William Fullerton on June 29 for a preliminary hearing.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Butler County Detectives Bureau operates under the auspices of the Butler County District Attorney’s Office.
