Richard Ordy

Richard Ordy, of Center Township, celebrated his 90th birthday on June 5 at a family dinner. A surprise party followed at 6 p.m. at Newhaven Court, and many friends and family attended to celebrate with him.

Ordy was born on June 5, 1936, in Butler.

He married JoAnn Johnson on July 14, 1962, in Butler. She is deceased.

Ordy has three children, Linda Halloran (Patrick), of McCandless; Susan Balog (Steve), of Cranberry; and Karen Reep (Dennis), of Butler.

He also has five grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and one angel grandson.

He is a former letter carrier.

He is a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Lyndora.
