Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival 2026: What to know for the event’s 15th anniversary

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is returning to Butler County June 12-14 for its 15th anniversary.

From history to activities, here’s what’s happening at this year’s event.

History

When America called for a versatile, all-terrain vehicle during World War II, Butler’s Bantam Car Co. answered with a prototype that would, through larger manufacturers with the necessary capacity to meet military demand, help win the war.

Helping preserve the heritage of not just the Jeep, but Butler’s connection to the automobile, members of the Butler Old Stone House Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America is providing a look at the real thing through its Butler Built Garage collection of vehicles.

Connecting Butler’s past with the nation’s

Organizers of this year’s festival are taking steps to mark the nation’s 250th anniversary during the annual celebration of the Jeep with patriotic-themed events. This year’s event stands to be a joint celebration of both Jeep and American history.

Event organizers are encouraging participants to show their patriotism during this year’s Jeep Invasion event on Main Street in Butler by decking out their rides in the red, white and blue while downtown businesses dress to match.

Festival highlights

This year’s event brings back participant favorites from the past, many on an even larger scale, for its 15th anniversary.

Always a popular draw for attendees, the Jeep playground will be open and welcoming those who want to take the sort of ride that makes a Jeep special.

Continuing a tradition from recent years, Saturday night will host opportunities to participate in some of the most popular activities of the entire festival.
