12-year-old on e-bike strikes vehicle Sunday in Butler
A 12-year-old was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh with a reported severe hip injury after crashing an e-bike into a vehicle Sunday, May 31, Butler police Chief Robert O’Nell said Thursday.
O’Neill said the crash occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of School and Eau Claire streets. The driver stayed at the scene and called 911 before being released.
The child was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital before being taken to Pittsburgh.
The incident is under investigation, police said.
