Savannah 50th Anniversary
Charles and Linda Savannah of Butler Township will celebrate 50 years of marriage June 5, with a family dinner at Anna Marie’s Winery in East Butler, and a trip to Sandbridge, Va.
Savannah married the former Linda Cogley on June 5, 1976, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three children: Rachelle (Scott) Haberberger, of Sarver; Chad (Christina) Savannah, of Butler; and Corey (Erica) Savannah, of Butler.
The Savannahs also have six grandchildren: Arabella, Sophia, Luca, Lia, Gino and Marco.
Savannah retired from Butler County as the manager of purchasing, housekeeping and laundry at Sunnyview Nursing Center. He is a board member of the Butler Transit Authority and Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong. He is a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy No. 1664.
Mrs. Savannah worked at Jay Shop, Bobbie Brooks and then as a homemaker to raise three children. She is a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy No. 1664, and a volunteer at the Penn Theater.
