Meet Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School’s class of 2026 officers
Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School had its graduation ceremony June 2 at Diehl Stadium.
The speakers included Nathan Hess, senior class vice president; Mason Bell, valedictorian and senior class president; and Jessica Rodgers, salutatorian.
Nathan Hess is the son of Roger and Billi Hess, of East Brady. Nathan was student council president, senior class vice president, Ski Club vice president, in the Peer Mentorship Program, National Honor Society and a Believer in Christ member. He earned the Good Citizenship Award, made honor roll and the honor sash. Nathan plans to attend Butler County Community College to major in accounting.
Mason Bell is the son of Adam and Jessica Bell, of Chicora. Mason was president of senior class, Ski Club president, National Honor Society president, involved in Peer Leadership and Extreme Leadership. He is a West Point Cadet, Academic Games League of America national champion, earned excellence in computer science and technology, made high honor roll and honor sash. Mason plans to attend West Point Military Academy.
Jessica Rodgers is the daughter of William and Mylissa Rodgers, of Cowansville. Jessica was National Honor Society vice president, a varsity volleyball member, a varsity softball member, a track and field member, a student athletic trainer and student council member. She earned the WoodmenLife Award, the Zachary Evankovich & Family Memorial Scholarship, was an Academic Games League of America national champion team member, made high honor roll and honor sash. Jessica plans to attend Gannon University to major in physician assistant sciences.
