Frontline Dignity video captures purported Wednesday morning ICE operations in Cranberry Township

Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations have continued to impact individuals in southwestern Butler County.

A video Wednesday morning, June 3, shared by regional immigrant advocacy group Frontline Dignity, showed law enforcement putting three individuals into a white van.

Jaime Martinez, director of Frontline Dignity, said the only information Frontline has at this time is that at least one of the individuals was Brazilian and the operations was conducted in cooperation with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

It was reported earlier in the year that the county sheriff’s office had helped ICE arrest 36 individuals from November through February. Since then, Frontline has continued to post videos documenting arrests in Butler County.

Sheriff Mike Slupe did not comment on this operation, he told the Eagle on Wednesday his office was notified June 1 its liability insurance coverage had started and it was restarting operations in conjunction with ICE this week.
