The Rotary Club of Slippery Rock is sponsoring a community blood drive Wednesday, June 3, at the Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock. The drive will run from noon through 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the church, 211 Center St., Slippery Rock.

Donors of all backgrounds and blood types are urgently needed by area patients, according to a news release from the Rotary.

Call 1-800-733-2767 or visit rcblood.org/donate and enter 16057 — the ZIP code for Slippery Rock — in the location field to schedule an appointment for the blood drive.

People donating blood during the Slippery Rock blood drive will receive a $15 e-gift card while supplies last.
