Clarion Hospital’s EMS Training Center, part of Independence Health System, has earned an American Heart Association recognition.

The hospital received the association’s All-Star Recognition Award, awarded to training centers that deliver high-quality CPR education, adhere to American Heart Association Emergency Cardiovascular Care guidelines and strengthen lifesaving training standards in the communities they serve.

It serves as the training center for Clarion Hospital and Butler Memorial Hospital, as well as many community partners throughout the region.
