Athletes with several specialties can compete in a multi-sport race this weekend at Moraine State Park.

Get Fit Families will be hosting the Mighty Moraine Spring Multi-Sport Race Event Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, at Lakeview Beach.

Expect traffic pattern delays throughout the race. North Shore Drive will be one-way from 6 a.m.to noon to accommodate the safety of the bicycle portion of the event. The one-way pattern will proceed west-to-east, starting at West Park Road and ending at Mt. Union Road. Davis Hollow Marina tenants are encouraged to access the Davis Hollow Marina via Mt. Union Road.

Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources rangers and traffic control personnel will be on hand to assist with the transition. All areas of the park will remain open during the event. Follow detour signs for the safety of race participants.

On Saturday, May 16, the youth portion of the race will take place at the Pleasant Valley Beach day use area on the South Shore from 4 to 8 p.m.
