Smokey Bones’ Cranberry location closed
On Tuesday morning, all operating locations of Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill were suddenly shut down, including the location in Cranberry Township, which was one of the last three locations in the Pittsburgh area.
Employees present at the Cranberry location on Wednesday, April 29, declined to comment.
Twin Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of FAT Brands, owned the barbecue chain. Back in January, Twin Hospitality had filed for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy to “strengthen capital structure” for Smokey Bones and Twin Peaks, its other popular chain which has more than 100 locations across the U.S.
At the time, the company had said in a press release that all remaining Smokey Bones locations will continue to operate as per usual.
