Concordia offering free fishing derby on May 16

Concordia will host its free Fishing Derby from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Saxony Farm Estate, Addy Boy Lane, Saxonburg.
The derby is for children ages 14 and under. A fishing license is not needed for the children, but all of them will require a chaperone.
Free hot dogs and refreshments will be available, and prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
A limited number of fishing poles will be on hand for youths to borrow, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have one. Bring lawn chairs or blankets as well, if possible. Concordia will provide bait.
Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
