It's been eight long years since that day that changed our lives forever.

Our lives have dimmed since you left because you were the one who held all the sparkle and light. We miss the way the Holidays were when you were here. We miss how excited you were when you got presents and how you always tried to get all of us the perfect gifts. We miss Sunday dinners. We miss your smile, your voice, your laughter, our daily phone calls. You were the life of the party.

You were our Best Friend, our Mom, Mother-in-Law, our Grandma, our Jamamaw.

Though you are no longer by our side, we always feel your presence within our hearts.

We know that you're with Jesus where there is no more pain or tears, only fullness and joy. We will see you again and we long for that day.

You, Daddy and Jacob hold on to one another until we are all reunited, and our family chain is linked again.
