Butler Catholic School students win at Math Madness
Butler Catholic School Math 24 Club students recently placed in the fourth annual Math Madness competition, hosted by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV.
The event, held on Friday, April 17, in Grove City, brought together 50 students from six schools across the region. Eleven students from Butler Catholic participated in the competition.
Martin Shatlock took first in fourth/fifth grade; Aiden Dorcy took first and Matthew Dudley took second place for sixth grade; and Gavin Musko won first and Matthew Yeager won second place in seventh/eighth grades
The Math Madness competition challenges students in mental math, speed and problem-solving.
