Sarver man wins Wheel of Fortune
A Butler County man took his spin at Wheel of Fortune on Thursday evening, April 23, and found himself outplaying the competition.
Drew Rummel, of Sarver, managed to take home $31,498 during the game-show to net a win. Unfortunately, he was unable to solve the bonus round puzzle.
Rummel, who works as a personal injury attorney in Pittsburgh, applied to appear on the show after seeing a Facebook ad for “Harley enthusiasts.”
He purchased a 2-25 Harley-Davidson Street Glide in June 2025 and has already put more than 19,000 miles on the bike, making stops in Tennessee, Ocean City and elsewhere.
“Everything is exciting about it,” Rummel said Thursday evening after the episode aired.
He explained how his “gut told him” to choose “a” but when he chose “o” instead as one of his letters in the bonus round, he was unable to figure out the second word in that puzzle.
“The whole experience, I just approached it wanting to have fun,” he said.
He returns to the show Friday night. Thursday’s episode can be streamed Friday on Peacock or Hulu, and Friday’s will be available on those streaming services come Saturday morning.
