Route 8 will be losing a staple breakfast spot at the end of the month.

Reichold’s Cafe, 772 Pittsburgh Road in Butler, has announced plans to close its doors at the end of the day April 30, according to the cafe’s Facebook page.

The post says the owners tried to purchase the building to save the business, but a mutual agreement was not able to be reached.

Reichold’s Cafe’s lease ends April 30.

The Facebook post thanked its employees for their service to the business and the patrons who frequented the cafe on a regular basis.

“We truly appreciate all of the support we have received over our years of service,” the post read. “We have truly been blessed by all the wonderful people this business enabled us to meet and build a relationship with. We will miss you all!”
