VA Butler Healthcare System is adding more “Tech Tuesday” events to assist veterans with the VA’s new secure sign-in process.

The events will take place on Tuesdays, Feb. 18 and 25, at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center’s virtual health resource center, 353 N. Duffy Road in Center Township. VA staff will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days to provide hands-on service to veterans in creating new sign-in accounts through Login.gov or ID.me.

Veterans attending a session should bring their mobile phone, tablet or laptop; two primary forms of unexpired, government-issued photo IDs; and two alternate forms of ID, such as Social Security card, DD-214 or a utility bill in their name.

The deadline to switch from DS Logon to ID.me or Login.gov is Sept. 30.
