Slippery Rock University was recognized on four separate lists for its online programs by U.S. News & World Report.

The publication's 2025 Best Online Programs rankings assessed about 1,780 online degree programs, according to am SRU news release. SRU ranked 132nd overall for best online bachelor’s programs.

SRU offers eight online bachelor's degree completion programs in accounting, health care administration and management, leadership studies, liberal arts, management, marketing, nursing, and philanthropy and nonprofit management.

SRU was also recognized on the lists at 104th for best online bachelor's in business, 163rd for best online master's in education, and in the 272-355 range for best online MBA.

U.S. News assessed online college programs in four weighted categories: 35% engagement, 25% services and technologies, 20% faculty credentials and training, and 20% peer assessment.
