Stauffer

Ronald L. Stauffer, 94, of New Sewickley Township, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024. Ronald and Martha Stauffer walked through heaven’s gates together. Married for 73 years, the couple died minutes apart at Heritage Valley Medical Center.

Born Dec. 30, 1929, in Fombell, he was the son of the late Clifford Stauffer and Grace Pflug Stauffer.

Ronald was a faithful member of St. John’s Burry’s Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Gary) Hunkele; six grandchildren, Ashley Grove, Tyler (Amy) Hunkele, Dr. Kristen L. (Matthew) Shidemantle, Kaitlyn (Brian) Broyles, Stacie (Brandon) Grenet and Sarah (Brian) Begg; and four great-grandchildren, Gunner Grove, Mila Grenet, Colton Anderson and Liam Broyles.

Ronald was preceded in death by two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen (Dave) Begg and Kim Scheidemantle; his brother, Mervin Stauffer; and his sister, Sandra Adams.

STAUFFER — Friends of Ronald L. Stauffer, who died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, will be received for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Ronald will be laid to rest privately at St. John's Burry's Church Cemetery.
