Ryan “Moose” William Kerchersky, 41, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, from injuries he sustained from a motorcycle accident.

Ryan was a beloved dad, husband, son, brother, buddy and friend to many. Ryan was born in Stratford, N.J., on Aug. 31, 1982. He was a graduate of Butler Senior High School.

Ryan was a loving, caring man with a big heart. He loved helping others and considered everyone his friend and buddy. Throughout his life, Ryan worked as a long-haul truck driver, an EMT, in the fire safety field and as a volunteer fireman. He enjoyed woodworking and repurposing furniture; and working on cars, trucks and motorcycles. Sitting by the campfire, barbecuing and cooking for his friends and family brought him joy.

Ryan is survived by one daughter, three sons, a wife, mother, stepfather, father, stepmother, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, three stepchildren, two stepsisters, two stepbrothers, aunts, an uncle and cousins.

KERCHERSKY — All services for Ryan “Moose” William Kerchersky, who died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
