The Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center will have its 11th annual Summer Health and Wellness Event on Friday, Aug. 23.

During the event, the agency will be offering fresh fruit and vegetables to purchase, and attendees can participate in wellness demonstrations and educational sessions, which includes fitness and yoga demonstrations and a drum circle. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with VA staff to learn more about VA programs and services, according to a flyer from the agency.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Abie Abraham center, 353 N. Duffy Road in Butler Township. For more information, call 878-271-6484.
