Marlene C. Kremer, 72, of Zelienople, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Born Sept. 22, 1951 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Raymond Dubois.

Marlene was a member at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Church. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served at Fort Lewis in Washington. She formerly assisted at Adrian’s on Main Street in Zelienople. When her children were small, she was a volunteer for the PTA at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School. She loved reading. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Marlene leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 52 years, Paul J. Kremer, whom she married on July 8, 1972; her sons, Paul M. (Elizabeth) Kremer of North Carolina and John P. (Diane) Kremer of Koppel; her grandchildren, Austin (Julia), Haley, Madison and Ethan; her siblings, Albert DuBois of Texas, Greg Schons and Jerry Schons of California, Doris Miller and Marilyn Anthony of Maine; numerous nieces and nephews; and even more grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Carla Schons; brother, Raymond DuBois; sister, Margaret DuBois; and brothers, Billy and Scotty Bollenbeck.

KREMER — Friends of Marlene C. Kremer, who died Monday, July 8, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.

Marlene will be laid to rest with full military honors at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.

Donations may be made in Marlene’s memory to the Salvation Army, 615 Slaters Lane, Alexandria, VA 22314.
