Kriess Road will close from July 22 through 30 as part of a corridor improvement project on Route 68 in Butler and Connoquenessing townships. The closure affects the stretch of road between the intersections of Stevenson Road and Meridian Road.

The three-year project, with State College-based Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., as the contractor, is intended to reduce congestion along Route 68 and is estimated to be completed in November 2025.
