Public invited to vote for Murrinsville Community Center’s board of directors
Community members are encouraged to attend a meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 21 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church on the corner of Routes 308 and 58 to learn more about its future as the Murrinsville Community Center.
The property belonging to the Catholic Church will be re-purposed in service to the community in Marion Township and surrounding areas.
The meeting will offer an opportunity to ask questions about the community center and learn about the different responsibilities involved in leading the non-profit. On July 21, residents will also nominate and vote on board members.
The church will open at 9 a.m. for viewing.
