Deborah A. Schulter, 70, of Butler, went on her final ride and met her Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

She was born in Butler on Oct. 21, 1953, to the late Roy and Marceda (Wonderly) Deal.

Deborah was employed by several school bus contractors in the Butler and Saxonburg area school districts, from the mid-1970s to 2024. She also worked at James Austin Company in Mars until she retired. Deborah enjoyed playing bingo, watching Christmas movies and watching game shows. She also enjoyed playing card games, especially Texas Hold ’em, which was her favorite.

Deborah is survived by her son, Georgie (Robin) Schulter; daughter, Kathy (Michael) Caldwell; and grandchildren Riley and Michael “Bubba”; her brothers, Terry (Brenda) Deal and Dan (Debbie) Deal; her sisters, Kathy Deal and Marcia (Dan) Grates; sister-in-law, Lynn Deal; and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her close friend, Rene Laidlaw.

Along with her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, George Schulter Sr.; her brother, Roy Deal Jr.; and her in-laws, Albert and Betty Schulter.

SCHULTER — Family and friends of Deborah A. Schulter, who died Thursday, June 20, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
