Karns City Area Jr/Sr. High School
The Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School commencement was held at 7 p.m. May 30 at Diehl Stadium.
The student speakers were Ava Fox, class president; valedictorian Noah Mourer; and salutatorian Lathan Price.
■ Ava is the daughter of Jason and Nicole Fox, of Cowansville. She was class president, a member of the National Honor Society, student council treasurer, vice president of Home Ec Club, captain of the volleyball team, and a member of the varsity track team.
She plans to attend LaRoche University to major in forensic science.
■ Noah is the son of Matthew and Stacey Mourer, of Chicora. He was student council vice president, senior class treasurer, National Honor Society treasurer, Home Ec Club president, captain of the varsity soccer team, and a member of the varsity cross country team.
He plans to attend Slippery Rock University to major in civil engineering.
■ Lathan is the son of Josh and Amy Price, of Bruin. He was class vice president, student council president, National Honor Society secretary, Home Ec Club secretary, captain of the varsity soccer team and a member of the science club.
Class officers are Ava Fox, president; Lathan Price, vice president; Noah Mourer, treasurer; and Kendall Ritzert, secretary.
