John and Carmel Ray

John and Carmel Ray, of Franklin Township, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a dinner cruise on May 18 on the Gateway Clipper in Pittsburgh.

Ray married the former Carmel Bolibruck on May 18, 1974, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, John M. Ray of West Liberty and Michelle Steiner of Butler.

The Rays also have two grandchildren.

Ray is retired from North American Steel and Wire.

Mrs. Ray is retired from Slippery Rock Family Medicine.

The Rays are members of St. Faustina Parish.
