Robert ‘Bo’ Wilson
Robert L. “Bo” Wilson, 88, of Chicora, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at Celebration Villa of Lakemont Farms, Bridgeville, Pa., from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
He was born in Templeton, Armstrong County, Pa., on July 6, 1935, the son of the late Harold Hugh Wilson and the late Florence Velda Rhoades Wilson.
He retired April 12, 1996, after 30 years, from Armco Steel in Butler, where he worked in the silicon department. He and his wife owned and operated Wilson Nursery of Chicora, R.D. 1, for many years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chicora. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956, serving in Korea.
Bo is survived by his wife, Arleen C. Campbell Wilson, whom he married in June of 1958; a daughter, Rochelle L. McElravey; three sons, H. Mark Wilson, R. Michael Wilson and Mitchell P. Wilson; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
