Weiland anniversary
Donald and Emma Weiland, of Oakland Township, will celebrate 75 years of marriage with an open house from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 2 at the couple’s residence.
Weiland married the former Emma Glynn on June 1, 1949, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Sugarcreek, Pa.
They have five children, Elaine Minto, of Butler Township; Joan Anderson, of Lower Burrell; Judy Ross, of Danville, Ky.; Jack Weiland, of Butler; Alice Nelson, of Tampa, Fla. A son, Paul Weiland, is deceased.
The Weilands also have 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two step-great grandchildren.
Weiland is retired from Armco. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Chicora American Legion.
Mrs. Weiland is a homemaker.
The Weilands are members of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Oakland Township.
