Buccini

James D. Buccini, 60, of Navarre, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1963, in Butler. James moved away at an early age, relocating in Georgia where he had family. James worked hard and spent his weekends at his cabin on the Coosa River in Alabama. He loved fishing and boating with his family, especially with his nephew, Don. When James met and fell in love with Jessica, together they moved south to what James called his Florida paradise.

James was employed by Goodyear as store manager at its Destin location. He took great pride in his store, employees and company, often saying “Goodyear is the best company to work for.”

He is leaving behind his love, Jessica, and her two sons, Jordan and Austin, of Navarre, Fla.; his beloved daughters and their spouses, Amanda (Ryan) Breving of Austell, Ga., Breanna (Russell Robert) Buccini of Villa Rica, Ga.; his grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Elena and baby girl Breving, coming later this summer; his longtime friends, Cheryll Wilder Green and Kerrie Landino of Austell, Ga.; his sister, Nancy (Scott) Fitzpatrick of Butler; his brother, Dana (Pam) Buccini of Marietta, Ga.; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sandra Buccini; nephew, Don Edwards; and niece, Shannon Henricks.

There are no services. However, the family is planning a celebration for a later date.
