The Bayers in 1964

Jim and Lynn Bayer, of Clearfield Township, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on May 23, 2024.

Bayer married the former Lynn Follmeyer on May 23, 1964, at St. John’s Parish in Coylesville.

They have four children, James Bayer Jr., of Cincinnati; Christine Gooderham, of Longboat Key, Fla.; Cara Craig, of Chicora; and Jamie Bayer, of Butler.

The Bayers also have nine grandchildren.

Bayer is retired from Armco, and worked as a farmer.

He was a member of Butler Area Street Machine Association, Happy Hunters, and St. John’s Parish.

Mrs. Bayer is a homemaker.
