Linda Koebler

Koebler

Linda L. (Mershimer) Koebler, 66, of West Sunbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.

Born July 11, 1957, in Butler, she was the daughter of Donald Eugene Mershimer and Shirley Ann (Gladd) Mershimer.

Linda graduated from Moniteau High School in 1975 and dedicated 38 years to co-owning and operating K&K Auto Repair. Her commitment as a notary left a lasting impact on her community, exemplifying dedication in both roles. Linda and her husband, Darwin, retired two years ago, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and service.

Blessed with a love for animals and wildlife, Linda found joy in caring for her pets, Coco and Maury, and observing nature. She also enjoyed crafting and creating beautiful floral arrangements. Linda will be fondly remembered for her warm presence, unwavering kindness, infectious sense of humor, indomitable stubbornness, and ability to make anyone feel at home.

She is survived and will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 39 years, Darwin L. Koebler Sr.; her loving children, Tonya Koebler and Justin Koebler; her dear parents, Donald and Shirley (Gladd) Mershimer; beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth (McAllister) Seybert; and her two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Emily. Linda also leaves behind her siblings, Cathy (Mershimer) Bartley and Gary Mershimer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her adored pets, Coco and Maury.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Mershimer.

Linda's memory will be deeply treasured by all who knew her.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched, and the cherished memories she left behind with her loved ones. The family extends sincere gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this challenging time.
