Wayne Flatt

Wayne Paul Flatt, M.D., 75, of Evans City, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, while under the care of Lakeview Assisted Living in Darlington.

Born Nov. 26, 1948, in Butler, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Daisy (McCullough) Flatt.

Wayne graduated from Knoch High School, Butler Community College, Slippery Rock University, and Universidad Eugenio Maria de Hostos (UNIREMHUS). He honorably served our country in the Navy and later retired from the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Elkton, Ohio. He was well known for playing the trumpet, especially when he was younger. Wayne also played golf starting in high school.

Wayne leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Michele (Andre) Flatt; his children, Jeff Flatt (Lisa Conti), Leanne Flatt Ray (Jason) and Michael B. Collins; his grandchildren, Allison, Owen, Sam and Scott; and his beloved golden retriever and faithful companion, Jimmy.

FLATT — Family and friends of Wayne Paul Flatt, who died Thursday, April 25, 2024, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at The Stables of Connoquenessing, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
