The annual Butler Road Race will take place the morning of June 22 this year, but people who want to participate in the 2K or the 5-mile routes can get a discount on registration if they sign up before June 1.

The Butler YMCA hosts the Butler Road Race each year, which takes walkers and runners on a tour of downtown Butler. The Butler Road Race is the longest running race in the region, and this year’s event will be its 49th. The Butler YMCA took over running the event a few years ago.

All proceeds from this event benefit the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign, which provides thousands of people in our community with discounted or free memberships and programs.

Early bird registration costs $30 for the 2K and $40 for the 5-mile until June 1, and people can register online at bcfymca.org.
