State Rep. Stephenie Scialabba, R-12th, announced she will be hosting her first Family First Initiative event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Steamfitters Event Center, 230 Wise Road, Jackson Township.

This event, formerly known as the Senior Expo, has been expanded to provide resources for all family members, young and old. The event will function as a “one-stop shop” with exhibits. More than 100 vendors will be in attendance to provide interactive displays and demonstrations.

There is no registration for the event. Anyone with questions can contact Scialabba’s district office at 724-772-3110. Attendees are encouraged to bring old eyeglasses and cellphones for a collection to charity.
