Mars Vo-Tech senior recognized at Signing Day
Alivia Miller, a senior at Mars Area High School, participated in the Southwestern PA Career & Technical Education Signing Day last month at PNC Park.
Miller was one of five students from the Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School chosen to attend the event based on an instructor’s recommendation as well as demonstrated excellence in the program, and plans to further her career after graduation.
Miller is a collision repair student at Butler Vo-Tech and has been working at Classic Automotive in Mars as a cooperative education student since her sophomore year. After graduation, she will continue her employment at the collision and mechanical repair facility.
The purpose of Signing Day is to recognize employed, enrolled or enlisted students leaving career and technical education.
