Edward J. Gall Sr., 71, of Evans City, passed away Saturday morning, May 11, 2024, at his residence.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Floyd A. Sr. and Mary Keener Gall.

He was a member of Crestview Community Church, Callery.

Ed had retired as a supervisor in 2015 from James Austin Co., Mars, after 46 years of service.

He loved fishing. He also enjoyed watching “Gunsmoke,” but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially Sunday Fun Day.

He is survived by his wife, Trudy L. Myers-Gall, whom he married July 2, 2014; two daughters, Stacy (Buddy) Snyder and Tanya Sharrar; two sons, Ed Jr. (Abbey) Spurk and Eddie Gall Jr.; two additional sons; one brother, Dan (Sandy) Gall; one special friend, Ray Kuba; two additional brothers; one sister; and 10 grandchildren, Jarred, Blake, Landon, Clara, Emmett, Deacon, Allie, Eddie III, Abigail and Cayden.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son, Jon; one sister, Pauline; and three brothers, Michael, David and Floyd.

GALL — Friends and relatives of Edward J. Gall Sr., who died May 11, 2024, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, Evans City.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 8 p.m. Wednesday with his Pastor Gregg Hartung officiating.

Private burial will take place on Thursday in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.

The family has suggested memorial donations be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
