Randy L. Toy, 53, passed away unexpectedly near his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in Chicora.

He was born on Friday, Feb. 26, 1971, in Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, Pa., to the late Cecil Toy Sr. and Shirley Armstrong Toy.

He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, and he enjoyed driving his truck delivering limestone and numerous other things.

He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church of Bradys Bend, was a life member of Sugar Creek Fire Department, and was a 32nd Degree member of the Argyle Lodge of Chicora.

Randy is survived by his wife, Shelly Steighner Toy, whom he married Friday, May 10, 1991; a daughter, Shelyn Toy, and husband, Jeff Toy; a son, Seth Toy; two grandchildren, Nadia Hicks and Jace Toy; a brother, Cecil Toy Jr., and wife, Marsha; and four sisters, Sherry Cramer, Mary McGrady, Margaret Walker and Brenda Mackey.

TOY — Visitation for Randy L. Toy, who died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024, at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.

Argyle Lodge 540 of Chicora will hold a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Last call by Sugarcreek Fire Department will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Peter Sapp, pastor of Trinity Reformed Church, Bradys Bend. Following the service, Randy will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chicora.
