County residents capture colorful sky

Laurie Coyne took her photos of the visiting northern lights between 10:50 and 11:20 p.m. on the border of Butler and Connoquenessing townships.
Coyne reported she could only see a pink haze with her eyes, but photos in night mode on her iPhone 13 Pro showed a much more dramatic royal purple and pink sky with hints of green and blue.
