Shick

Helen J. Shick, 77, of Evans City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

She was born in Butler on Dec. 26, 1946, to the late Roy and Betty (Pringle) Shick.

Helen was a member of the Church of God in Connoquenessing. She loved and cherished receiving daily text pictures of her daughter and grandsons’ lives, including their dogs and cats. She also loved her favorite son-in-law dearly, as he was very special to her.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Sue (Charles) Geyer; two grandsons; Austin and Zachary Geyer; her brother, Daniel Shick and his wife, Karen Shick, of Prospect; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Snively; and two brothers, Jessie Shick and LeRoy Shick.

SHICK — All services for Helen J. Shick, who died Thursday, May 2, 2024, were held through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. Burial will be held privately.
