The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced road maintenance activities for the week of May 6 on Friday, May 3.

– Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek and Worth Township will undergo bridge deck washing.

– McCalmont Road in Butler Township, Benbrook Road in Center Township, Route 8 and Eau Claire Road in Mercer Township, and West Sunbury Road in Marion and Venango Township will undergo patching.

– Mechanized patching is scheduled for Meridian Road in Butler Township, McCalmont/Brownsdale Road in Butler and Penn Township, and Route 8 and Valencia Road in Adams and Middlesex Township.

– Rowan Road in Cranberry Township and Prospect Road in Forward Township will both undergo pipe installation. Prospect Road will continue to see pipe installation across multiple municipalities, according to PennDOT.

– Pipe replacement will take place on Renfrew Road in Penn Township, and shoulder cutting is expected on Prospect Road in Brady and Franklin townships.
