Janice Vinroe

Vinroe

Janice L. Vinroe, 91, of West Lake Road, Transfer, Pa., died at 9 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Quality Life Services — Mercer.

Born in Meridian on May 12, 1932, she was the daughter of C. Burton Sarver and Twila L. Sarver. She was the widow of Harry L. Vinroe Jr., whom she married on June 22, 1955, and who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Vinroe retired as administrative assistant at Mercer County Board of Assistance, Hermitage.

She attended Bethany Presbyterian Church and was a member of Bethany Women's Group and served as a deaconess. Janice attended First Baptist Church, Mercer, and was the treasurer in the past. Janice also attended Springs of the Living Water Pentecostal Holiness Church, Mercer.

Surviving Janice are her son, Donald L. Vinroe and Cheryl (Smith) Vinroe of Andover, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. David (Linda S.) Parquette of Transfer; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A brother and sister preceded her in death.

VINROE — Burial for Janice L. Vinroe, who died Saturday, April 27, 2024, will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
