Venturini

Donald N. Venturini, 86, of Saxonburg, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.

Born Jan. 29, 1938, in Lucesco, Pa., he was the son of Luigi Venturini and Mary Ruggeri Venturini.

Don served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1960. He was the lead avionics mechanic for US Airways, having worked for 35 years before retiring. Don was a very active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot. After his retirement, he volunteered as a handyman and then worked for St. Luke School. He was a member of several historical societies in Allegheny Township and Freeport. He enjoyed doing genealogical and historical research.

Surviving are his children, Jeffree Venturini of Pittsburgh, Randall Venturini of Pittsburgh, Donalyn Shelton of Saxonburg and Janna Venturini of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren, Julia, Joseph and Matthieu.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lynn B. Venturini; and two brothers, Robert Venturini and Dean Venturini.

VENTURINI — Private interment for Donald N. Venturini, who died Monday, April 22, 2024, will be in the Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
