Brandon Spithaler fended off an unrelenting AJ Flick in the closing laps of main event sprint car action at Friday’s Opening Night at Sarver’s Lernerville Speedway.

Michael Norris and Alex Feree traded the lead a few times in the final laps of the late model main event, while Garrett Krummert took hold in the big block modified feature event. Christian Schneider took first place in the pro stock race.
