Thomas Ronald Wilbert, 75, of Butler, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Sergeant Joseph George Kusick VA Community Living Center.

He was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Herman, a son of the late Earl J. Wilbert and Catherine (McGee) Wilbert.

Thomas was a retired boilermaker, Union Local 154, and was a veteran, having served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post 117 in Butler.

Surviving are his daughter, Megan (Wayne) Huston of Butler; his siblings, Carolyn (Patrick) McGrady of Fenelton, Dorothy Duffy of Florida and Denis (Angela) Wilbert of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eight siblings, Rose Welter, Mary Margaret Wilbert, Rita West, James Wilbert, Melvin Wilbert, Leroy Wilbert, Charles Wilbert and Donald Wilbert.

WILBERT — Friends of Thomas Ronald Wilbert, who died Monday, April 15, 2024, will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Services will be held, along with military honors, at 1 p.m. at the graveside in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Route 528, Prospect.
