Paul Thomas “Tom” Fyfe, 85, of Butler, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Washington, D.C., on July 30, 1938, to the late Paul Fyfe and Marjorie R. (McGee) Fyfe.

Paul graduated in 1956 from Huntsville High School in Alabama. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962, where he was an electrician's mate second class. While in the Navy, Paul served aboard the USS Olmsted and the USS Damato. He toured Italy, Turkey, Greece, Sicily and Spain. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Paul continued to serve his country by enlisting in the Reserves.

Paul was in management at Montgomery Ward, retiring in 2001. After retirement, he worked at Boscov's as a salesman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going on long drives, camping, gardening and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Diana J. (Bodema) Fyfe, whom he married on Sept. 14, 1991; one daughter, Jennifer L. McCartney; three grandsons, Ethan L. McCartney, Jacob (Daisy) Kildoo and Noah (Haley) Justice; one great-granddaughter, Millie Justice; one sister, Pam Goodwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margo Gunn.

FYFE — A visitation for Paul Thomas “Tom” Fyfe, who died Friday, April 12, 2024, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. Immediately following the visitation will be a military service with full honors, then a funeral service will be held with Pastor Dennis Molnar officiating.

Private burial will be held in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
