Jeanette C. Mashuda, 99, of Zelienople, formerly of Moon Township, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born March 26, 1925, in Princeton, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Stanish Resheski and Magdalene (Darnick) Resheski.

Jeanette was a member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople, where she was a member of the St. Ann Guild. She loved gardening and had a green thumb. In her free time, she loved playing cards, bingo, doing word searches, and watching “Wheel of Fortune.” She also thoroughly enjoyed her adventures with her niece and sidekick, Gail Mashuda. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Diane (George) Krull; her grandchildren, Carrie (William) Palmer, Tracy Krull, Tammy (Steven) Woodward, Aimee (Austin) Weidner and Kelly (Shane) Byrne; her great-grandchildren, Joey and Paul Palmer, Hailey, Ethan, Emma and Claire Woodward, Keira and Ryan Byrne, and Trevor, Whitney and Madison Weidner; her brother, Thomas Resheski; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester D. Mashuda, who passed away on April 25, 2002; her brothers, Stephen, Ralph, David and Dominic Resheski; and her sisters, Esther Edgerely, Theresa Resheski, Dorothy Rogers, Regina Chapman and Dolores Walker.

MASHUDA — Friends and family of Jeanette C. Mashuda, who died Saturday, April 13, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.

Jeanette will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
