College notes

WILL ZIMMERMAN (Seneca Valley) recorded eight kills and two digs for the Thiel men’s volleyball team in a 3-0 loss to Hiram.

KALEB PROUDFOOT (Butler) tallied six kills, four digs and four blocks in Thiel’s men’s volleyball loss.

RYLEE LONG (Moniteau) finished 13th in the 100 meters for Penn State Behrend’s women’s track and field team at the Westminster Invitational.

AIDAN DOMENCIC (Seneca Valley) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase for Penn State Behrend’s men’s track and field team at the Westminster Invitational. His time was 9 minutes, 55.40 seconds.

ALEX COTTON (Knoch) placed fourth in the shot put for Penn State Behrend at the Westminster Invitational with a toss of 48 feet, 7.75 inches.

MATTHEW LASLAVIC (Seneca Valley) placed 10th in the high jump for Penn State Behrend at the Westminster Invitational. His jump was 40 feet, .25 of an inch.

ANTHONY KAMENSKI (Karns City) placed second in the 400-meter hurdles for Westminster at the Westminster Invitational. His time was 56.12 seconds. He also placed sixth in the 110 hurdles in 15.29.

JENNA ZENDRON (Moniteau) placed seventh in the 400 meters for Westminster at the Westminster Invitational. Her time was 1:02.75. She also ran a leg of the 4x400 relay that placed sixth.

ABBY ROTTMAN (Moniteau) had four hits in as many at bats for Thiel’s softball team in a 9-4 loss to Bethany. She had an RBI as well.

ISAAC BUSLER (Butler) took eighth in the 800 meters for Grove City at the Westminster Invitational. His time was 2 minutes, .89 seconds.

TORI STEVENSON (Butler) scored two goals and added an assist for Grove City in a 13-9 women’s lacrosse win over Chatham.

ELYSE KIGGINS (Seneca Valley) had five saves in goal to record her ninth win of the season for Grove City in that lacrosse win.
