Slippery Rock’s boys and girls track and field teams swept a dual meet at Franklin in the rain on Thursday, the girls winning, 88-53, the boys claiming a 65-64 decision.

Avia Reich won the 100-meter hurdles and 200 meters for the Rockets. Slippery Rock swept the relay events as Leah Perez, Halie Halberg, Becca Springirth and Kasey Yeager won the 4x800, Samantha Montgomery, Shareen Thangiah, Madison Gearhart and Lexi Plesicov the 4x100, Thangiah, Springirth, Raely FaJohn and Yeager the 4x400.

On the boys side, Tyler Arblaster won the 100 and 200 for Slippery Rock. Doug Popovec won the long jump and triple jump.
