SRU coach Micaletti joining HOF

NEW CASTLE — Slippery Rock University women’s basketball coach Ryenn Micaletti will be inducted into the Lawrence County Historical Society Sports Hall of Fame on April 28.

She will be on 12 individual inductees.

The banquet is set for 1:30 p.m. at the New Englander in New Castle. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at lawrencechs.com.

Micaletti was 45-16 as a basketball player at Seton Hill University and was 230-150 as a collegiate assistant coach. She will return to SRU for her second season as head women’s basketball coach in November.
